Are you a UI/UX Designer who enjoys creating intuitive, engaging player experiences and taking features from concept through to live operation?

We're working with an exciting game development studio seeking a UI/UX Designer to help shape player-facing experiences across a live product. This is an opportunity to take ownership of design challenges, collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and create polished, user-centric interfaces that improve both gameplay and player satisfaction.

About The Role

As a UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for designing intuitive, visually engaging and highly usable player experiences across the product.

Working within a small, cross-functional team, you'll collaborate closely with Designers, Engineers and LiveOps stakeholders to create user interfaces and interaction flows that are both aesthetically refined and easy to navigate. From early wireframes through to final implementation and live updates, you'll own the end-to-end design process while continuously iterating based on player feedback and performance data.

This role would suit someone who combines strong visual design skills with a deep understanding of user experience principles and a passion for player-focused product development.

What You'll Do

UI & UX Design

• Design intuitive and visually polished player-facing interfaces.
• Create user journeys, workflows and interaction patterns that improve usability and engagement.
• Develop wireframes, concepts, mock-ups and high-fidelity UI designs.
• Ensure consistency across the product's visual and interaction design systems.
• Apply strong visual hierarchy and information architecture principles.

Product Ownership

• Take ownership of features from initial concept through delivery and live iteration.
• Drive UX improvements based on player feedback, behavioural data and business goals.
• Maintain quality and consistency throughout the design process.
• Balance player needs with technical and product requirements.

Collaboration

• Work closely with:
  • Game Designers
  • Developers
  • Producers
  • LiveOps teams
• Contribute to feature discussions and product planning.
• Communicate design rationale clearly to stakeholders.
• Support implementation and refinement throughout development.

Iteration & Optimisation

• Analyse player behaviour and feedback to identify UX improvements.
• Refine designs based on user insights and game analytics.
• Participate in reviews and testing activities.
• Contribute to continuous product improvement through iterative design.
