Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an innovative Senior UI/UX Artist to join our growing, fully remote team with a presence in East London. You will design intuitive, engaging interfaces and player experiences for our games, grounded in user psychology and strong artistic sensibility.

Collaborating with game designers, programmers and artists, you will translate mechanics into polished UI, create wireframes, mockups and prototypes, ensure accessibility and brand alignment, and drive user testing to refine

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a UI/UX Artist, preferably in games.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating UI/UX design for games.
• Proficiency with Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design, usability, and accessibility.
• Experience with game engines and UI implementation.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop UI/UX for games that are intuitive and visually appealing.

About the Role

Our client is seeking an innovative and user-centric Senior UI/UX Artist to join their growing, fully remote team operating with a presence in East London. You will play a pivotal role in designing intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing user interfaces and experiences for our games. This position demands a keen understanding of user psychology, interaction design principles, and a strong artistic sensibility to create seamless player journeys. You will collaborate closely with game designers, programmers, and other artists to translate game mechanics and player needs into polished and functional interfaces. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the player interaction for our upcoming titles from anywhere.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces (UI) and user experiences (UX) for games.
• Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and final UI assets.
• Ensure UI design aligns with game mechanics, brand identity, and player accessibility standards.
• Collaborate with engineers to implement UI solutions and troubleshoot integration issues.
• Conduct user research and testing to iterate and improve UI/UX designs based on feedback.

Requirements

• Significant experience as a UI/UX Artist or designer, preferably in the game industry, with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and accessibility.
• Experience with game engines and understanding of UI implementation within them.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and remote work skills, with a proactive approach.
