Are you an experienced UI Programmer with a passion for building intuitive, high-quality player experiences?

This is an exciting opportunity to join a talented development team working on a new console-focused, realistic racing game. You’ll be responsible for designing and implementing player-facing user interfaces, developing tools to streamline UI workflows, and bringing design concepts to life through clean, efficient code.

What you'll be doing:

• Building fully functional game screens, widgets, and UI logic based on design documentation.
• Prototyping and refining UI features to validate design concepts efficiently.
• Developing and enhancing the existing UI systems and frameworks to support new functionality.
• Writing high-quality, maintainable Python and C++ code, following performance and visual standards.
• Collaborating with design, gameplay, and audio teams to deliver features on time and to specification.
• Testing, debugging, profiling, and optimising UI implementations for performance and reliability.
• Providing clear and thorough technical documentation for all UI systems and features.
• Developing tools and workflows to improve efficiency in the UI development process.
• Contributing to and supporting the studio’s long-term technical roadmap for future projects.

What we're looking for:

• A strong passion for both playing and developing high-quality video games.
• A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 2 years of experience as a UI Programmer in the games industry, with one or more shipped titles.
• Proficiency in Python, with a solid understanding of asynchronous programming and coroutines.
• Skilled in C++ with experience working in modern development environments.
• Familiarity with industry-standard tools such as Visual Studio, Git, and JIRA.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
