Lab522 is seeking a UI Engineer to join the engineering team in a hybrid role based in Greater Manchester. You will translate user needs into polished interfaces using Figma and React, collaborating with product and backend teams to deliver high-quality experiences.

The role welcomes all experience levels, with compesntation aligned to experience and a clear progression plus a bonus scheme. On-site Leigh Spinners Mill, Greater Manchester, with flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Implementing user experiences for new and existing products from concept to delivery as part of a larger full-stack engineering team.
• Working closely with product managers to translate user needs into intuitive interfaces that actually solve problems.
• Collaborating directly with backend developers to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
• Taking ownership of the entire user journey, from initial wireframes through to polished, production-ready interfaces.
• Prototyping and testing new features quickly, iterating based on user feedback and team input.
• Contributing to design system development and maintaining consistency across our product suite.
