Job description

We’re looking for a talented artist to join as a UI Art Lead on one of our main titles in Product Madness. In this role you will be responsible for creating and maintaining the User Interface of the game from initial conception to implementation.

You will lead and manage a small team of talented artists, setting a clear vision, building trust, providing consistent feedback, and understanding each artist's goals and needs, helping to establish a clear path for everyone to achieve their goals.

You will also work alongside UX designers, technical artists, developers and product managers to ensure the UI supports the game experience. You will partner with production to develop high level execution plans and own the execution strategy.

As UI Art Lead, you are expected to develop the overall look and feel of the game, balancing visual satisfaction and gameplay clarity to ensure amazing experiences. You will push art quality where players see it and know when to pull back on quality where they won’t, being hands-on sometimes and contributing to the artwork benchmark.

What We're Looking For

  1. Expert and flexible using leading UI development tools from Photoshop to Figma
  2. Expert on hands-off: creating documentation, exporting assets and presenting
  3. Great at tasks refinement, prioritization and building work plans and timelines
  4. Experienced on mentoring other UI designers and plan their growth
  5. Experienced working on Unity projects, from the hands off to asset integration
  6. Ability of study existing interfaces and suggest upgrades
  7. Ability to create working prototypes
  8. Knowledge of the modern casual gaming market and UI trends
  9. Awareness of UX principles
  10. Awareness of illustration knowledge (proportion, composition and color)
  11. Professional level of English.

Your portfolio shows:

  1. Very high quality UI work for mobile games that shows pieces of interfaces, logos, icons and typography
  2. A selection that shows confidence tackling various styles and formats
  3. Advanced structural UI design examples (wireframe, mockups and animatics).
