Job summary

Waremoss Group’s Uckfield MDS Hub is recruiting a Pharmaceutical Production Operative to join a fast-paced, clean environment assembling Monitored Dosage Systems (MDS) for community pharmacies.

You'll operate de-blistering and automated equipment, perform quality checks, and help with packing, dispatch, stock control and responding to pharmacy queries. Full training is provided and no regular weekend work.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow set processes.
• Able to stand and move throughout the shift.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Able to work to targets and under time pressure.

Responsibilities

• Remove medication from original packaging using a de-blistering machine.
• Refill machine canisters with medication.
• Use IT systems and automation to assemble packs.
• Perform basic quality checks for accuracy and safety.
• Package and prepare medication for dispatch.
• Order stock and manage inventory.
• Respond to queries from pharmacies by email and phone.

Uckfield MDS Hub – Production Operative (Pharmaceutical)

Waremoss Group- Our MDS production hub in Uckfield is recruiting

Our dispensing hub is a production based pharmacy environment to help support our community pharmacies by assembling Monitored Dosage Systems (MDS) for their patients and dispatching the assembled packs back to branch.

Hours:

1) Monday – Friday 9am-6pm (1hour unpaid lunch break)

2) Monday-Friday 1pm-6pm

We also welcome applicants to apply that are looking to work 2/3 consecutive days at the beginning/end of the week to create a job share. There is no regular weekend work!

Starting rate of pay: Up to £12.30 per hour

About the Role

We’re looking for reliable and detail-focused individual to join our busy pharmacy production hub asPharmaceutical Production Operative. This environment is clean and fast-paced, working with machines and manual processes to ensure the safe and accurate assembly of medication packs.

Key Responsibilities

• Removing medication from original packaging using a de-blistering machine
• Refilling machine canisters with medication
• Using IT systems and automation machines to assemble medication packs
• Performing basicquality checksto ensure accuracy and safety
• Packaging and preparing medication for dispatch
• Ordering stock and managing inventory
• Responding to queries from pharmacies via email and phone
