Job summary

Gamma is seeking an UCaaS Implementation Engineer to design and implement standard UCaaS solutions using Gamma's cloud platforms, including MS Teams Operator Connect, Direct Routing, Horizon, and Cisco Webex. The role offers hands-on training and growth opportunities in deployment and implementation.

You will work across offices in Manchester, London, Glasgow, and Newbury, contributing to fast-paced projects, ensuring best practices, and collaborating with stakeholders to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• Strong technical understanding of Microsoft Teams and UCaaS architectures.
• Experience with enterprise voice features, call queues, auto attendants, and user migrations.
• Familiarity with SBCs (AudioCodes, Ribbon) and collaboration platforms (Cisco Webex).
• Exposure to Azure AD, Windows Server, DNS, certificates, networking is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deploy UCaaS projects using Microsoft Teams Operator Connect, Direct Routing, Horizon, and Webex.
• Configure UCaaS environments including enterprise voice features and user migrations.
• Review customer solutions for compliance with best practices and provide feedback.

What is the role responsible for?

The UCaaS Implementation Engineer will be responsible for completing the design and implementation of standard UCaaS solutions utilising Gamma's Cloud Platforms such as MS Teams Operator Connect and Direct Routing, Horizon and Cisco Webex. The role is suitable for candidates that want to progress into the deployment and implementation side of UCaaS. It will also provide candidates with the opportunity to learn and grow with hands on training and shadowing on complex Microsoft Teams Solutions, for example.

What will you be doing day-to-day?

• Deployment of projects focused around the Gamma UCaaS portfolio including Microsoft Teams using Operator Connect and Direct Routing, Horizon and Cisco Webex.
• Installation and/or configuration of UCaaS environments including Enterprise Voice features and functionality, development of Call Queues and Auto Attendants, User Migration and Teams Training.
• Review and feedback on customer specified solutions for compliance to best practice.

What You’ll Bring

• Good technical understanding of Teams.
• Understanding of Gamma's Horizon and Horizon contact, would be beneficial.
• Understanding of Cisco Webex, would be beneficial.
• Exposure to SBCs such as AudioCodes or Ribbon.
• Good troubleshooting ability with hands‑on IT support experience, both back‑end and client facing.
• An understanding of the following Teams underlying technologies would be beneficial but not essential:
  • Microsoft Azure and On‑premises Active Directories
  • Windows Server
  • DNS
  • Certificates
  • Networking
• Have experience of working in a fast‑paced environment.
• Have excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate at multiple stakeholder levels.
• Hold the Teams certification exams and Audiocodes certification, beneficial but not essential.
