Job summary

Malloy Aeronautics is seeking a Quality Inspector in Maidenhead to ensure safety and quality across the UAV supply chain. This hands-on role requires prior manufacturing experience and a passion for inspection and documentation. You will work with Production and Engineering to address non-conformities and maintain logs.

Applicants should be able to obtain Security Clearance; UK residence for 5 years is required. The role emphasizes meticulous hands-on work in a design/manufacturing environment.

• A methodical and logical approach to information recording and management.
• An analytical approach to the work, with a desire to understand and take ownership of an issue.
• The ability to quickly understand and adapt to changing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Inspection and acceptance of incoming goods according to engineering instructions.
• Perform pre-delivery quality checks on UAVs, Batteries and Spares.
• Inspection and acceptance of pre- and post-processed parts.
• Interface with Production to register and resolve quality non-conformities with Engineering.
• Ensure build logs are maintained and stored as required.
• Raising and supporting non-conformances under supervision of QC Manager and Quality Engineer.
• Occasional report writing and reviews.
