Job summary

Malloy Aeronautics is seeking a Quality Inspector in Maidenhead to ensure safety and quality across the UAV supply chain. This hands-on role requires prior manufacturing experience and a passion for inspection and documentation. You will work with Production and Engineering to address non-conformities and maintain logs.

Applicants should be able to obtain Security Clearance; UK residence for 5 years is required. The role emphasizes meticulous hands-on work in a design/manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspection and acceptance of incoming goods according to engineering instructions.
• Perform pre-delivery quality checks on UAVs, Batteries and Spares.
• Inspection and acceptance of pre- and post-processed parts.
• Interface with Production to register and resolve quality non-conformities with Engineering.
• Ensure build logs are maintained and stored as required.
• Raising and supporting non-conformances under supervision of QC Manager and Quality Engineer.
• Occasional report writing and reviews.

The Malloy Aeronautics Team:

Malloy Aeronautics Limited specializes in the development of heavy lift unmanned air vehicles (UAVs) for both civilian and military uses. Located in Berkshire, our operations are notable for their focus on in-house design and manufacturing. This vertical integration means we control the production of most aircraft components on-site, enhancing our ability to innovate and maintain high standards across all stages of development.

About The Role:

This role involves the inspection of incoming as well as outgoing goods, with a high attention to detail. We are looking for someone who wants to help ensure safety and quality along the supply chain, as well as taking pride in their own work and pride in the products that are delivered to our customers. This will primarily be a hands‑on role, hence applicants are required to have a previous experience, as well as a passion for manufacturing, fabricating, and assembling.

Ability to hold Security Clearance - 5 years residence in the UK

What you'll being doing:

• Inspection and acceptance of incoming goods according to engineering instructions
• Perform pre‑delivery quality checks on UAVs, Batteries and Spares.
• Inspection and acceptance of pre‑ and post‑processed parts
