Across Safety Development is expanding — and we’re on the lookout for a UAS Regulation Consultant to join our expert team. Are you someone who knows their way around UK CAA and EASA drone regs? Comfortable with operational authorisations and SORA methodology? Then we’d love to hear from you.

The Role

You’ll be a key member of our UAS regulation and safety management consulting service, advising clients on compliance with UK and EASA regulations, supporting operational authorisation applications, and helping to shape the future of drone integration in aviation.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert consultancy on UK and European UAS regulations and the requirements relevant to client objectives

• Guide clients through SORA based operational approvals

• Work with clients on the development of their operations manuals and integrated management system

• Stay up-to-date with evolving UAS regulations and industry standards and communicate key updates

Must Haves

• Be passionate about uncrewed aviation

• Solid knowledge of UK and European UAS regulations and approval processes

• Experience in UAS operations

• Excellent communication and client-facing skills

• Strong written skills for preparing detailed documentation and reports

• Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable working independently

• The right to work in the UK and be able to travel to Goodwood Aerodrome regularly (applicants from outside of the UK will not be considered)

Nice to Have

• An aviation or UAS related degree

• Experience with SMS implementation

• Understanding of current UAS technology and trends

• Experience with BowTie risk management methodology

• Instructor/trainer experience (optional but welcomed)
