Webrecruit is seeking a versatile tyre fitter for an automotive retail centre. The role involves fitting tyres, batteries and other fast-fit maintenance tasks, in a busy, customer-facing environment.

You will be joining a small team, with opportunities to develop skills and progress through on‑the‑job training. The ideal candidate will have experience in a busy retail automotive setting, a flexible approach to tasks, and excellent communication to support customers and colleagues.

Formación

• Experience in a busy retail environment in an automotive setting.
• Able to manage own workload and work as part of a small team.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsabilidades

• To fit tyres and carry out fast fit maintenance to customer vehicles.
• To increase sales of products and services offered by the Company, in accordance with procedures.
• To maintain the cleanliness of the Centre and its equipment on an ongoing basis.
• To adhere to the Company’s Policy & Procedures.
• To comply with reasonable instructions from Management.
• The company will supply you with uniform, it must be clean and presentable at all times.
• To be available for work at the times specified by the Company.
• There are training opportunities to further your career within the Company.
• The role reports directly to the Centre Manager.

Hours

The Company's normal opening times are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6.00pm, Saturday 8.30am hours to 5.00pm hours and Sunday 10.00am to 4.00pm. Working hours to be discussed at interview

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have a flexible approach to tasks and be able to manage their own workload, be an excellent communicator with proven experience of working in a busy retail environment in an automotive setting. The main objective of the role will be to fit tyres, batteries, exhausts etc in a safe and efficient manner. The successful candidate will be part of a small team, but should be equally happy working on their own and should take a great degree of pride in carrying out tasks to an extremely high standard.
