Job summary

Webrecruit is seeking a flexible and customer-focused Centre Technician for our automotive centre. The role involves fitting tyres, batteries, exhausts and other fast-fit services, ensuring safety and high quality on every vehicle.

You will work as part of a small team or alone, with opportunities for training and development. The position offers a pension scheme, life assurance, discounts and wellbeing support through the company's benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy retail automotive environment.
• Able to fit tyres, batteries and exhausts safely and efficiently.
• Excellent communication and workload management.

Responsibilities

• To fit Tyres & carry out fast fit maintenance to customer vehicles
• To increase sales of products and services offered by the Company, in accordance with procedures
• To maintain the cleanliness of the Centre and its equipment on an ongoing basis
• To adhere to the Company’s Policy & Procedures
• To comply with reasonable instructions from Management
• The company will supply you with uniform, it must be clean and presentable at all times
• To be available for work at the times specified by the Company
• There are training opportunities to further your career within the Company
• The role reports directly to the Centre Manager

Hours

The Company's normal opening times are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6.00pm, Saturday 8.30am hours to 5.00pm hours and Sunday 10.00am to 4.00pm. Working hours to be discussed at interview

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have a flexible approach to tasks and be able to manage their own workload, be an excellent communicator with proven experience of working in a busy retail environment in an automotive setting. The main objective of the role will be to fit tyres, batteries, exhausts etc in a safe and efficient manner. The successful candidate will be part of a small team, but should be equally happy working on their own and should take a great degree of pride in carrying out tasks to an extremely high standard.
