Job summary

Webrecruit in the United Kingdom is recruiting for a tyre fitter to join a busy automotive retail environment. The role focuses on fitting tyres, batteries and exhausts in a safe, efficient manner while maintaining high standards of presentation and customer service.

You will work as part of a small team or independently, with training opportunities available and a focus on delivering quality workmanship and sales of related products and services.

Qualifications

• Flexible approach to tasks and ability to manage own workload
• Excellent communicator with proven experience in a busy retail automotive environment
• Main objective to fit tyres, batteries, exhausts in a safe and efficient manner
• Able to work as part of a small team or independently
• Pride in carrying out tasks to a high standard

Responsibilities

• To fit Tyres & carry out fast fit maintenance to customer vehicles
• To increase sales of products and services offered by the Company, in accordance with procedures
• To maintain the cleanliness of the Centre and its equipment on an ongoing basis
• To adhere to the Company’s Policy & Procedures
• To comply with reasonable instructions from Management
• The company will supply you with uniform; it must be clean and presentable at all times
• To be available for work at the times specified by the Company
• There are training opportunities to further your career within the Company
• The role reports directly to the Centre Manager

Job description

Hours:

The Company's normal opening times are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6.00pm, Saturday 8.30am hours to 5.00pm hours and Sunday 10.00am to 4.00pm. Working hours to be discussed at interview

Salary:

Dependent on experience

Holiday:

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have a flexible approach to tasks and be able to manage their own workload, be an excellent communicator with proven experience of working in a busy retail environment in an automotive setting. The main objective of the role will be to fit tyres, batteries, exhausts etc in a safe and efficient manner. The successful candidate will be part of a small team, but should be equally happy working on their own and should take a great degree of pride in carrying out tasks to an extremely high standard.
