Job summary

Lookers Ltd at Newcastle Paint and Body Centre is seeking an experienced tyre technician to join our busy team. You will remove, repair and fit tyres, balance wheels, and perform wheel alignment across our sites.

A full driving licence is essential, and you will travel between locations as needed. The role offers a structured pay scale, generous annual leave and enhanced family leave, plus access to Techscheme discounts and eye care benefits.

Location: Newcastle Paint and Body Centre

Hours: Monday - Thursday 7.30am - 4.30pm Friday 7.30am - 4.00pm

Salary: Up to £31,600 OTE

Who we’re looking for:

You’re already experienced in removing, repairing and fitting tyres, with the ability to diagnose tyre faults and determine whether repair or replacement is the right solution for the customer.

You’ll also have some experience of delivering great customer service and excellent time management skills, as you’ll be organising your work schedule each day. This role will include driving from each site collecting tyres so a full clean driving license is required.
