Job summary

ADDISON TYRES LIMITED in England, United Kingdom, is seeking a full-time Tyre Fitter to service vehicles through fitting, removing, and replacing tyres, balancing wheels and checking pressures. You will inspect tyres for wear, advise customers on tyre options, and ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.

A small team environment and weekend hours may be required. Applicants should have practical tyre-fitting experience and a valid UK driving license; training and growth opportunities

Qualifications

• Practical experience in tyre fitting, wheel balancing, and puncture repairs in a retail or workshop setting.
• Basic mechanical knowledge of vehicles and safe operation of lifting equipment and tools.
• Strong health and safety focus with ability to follow procedures to protect customers and vehicles.
• Good customer service skills and clear communication to explain tyre options and work performed.
• Ability to work on your feet, manage time, and perform manual tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work collaboratively within a small team, including occasional weekend hours.
• Full, valid UK driving license preferred; prior automotive or tyre retail experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Fitting, removing, and replacing tyres on a variety of vehicles.
• Balance tyres and check tyre pressures to ensure safe operation.
• Inspect tyres for wear and damage and advise customers on suitable options.
• Maintain a clean, organized workshop and follow company procedures for safety.
• Work as part of a small team, supporting colleagues during busy periods.
