Mechanical Fitter - Cambridge

CRP Group is currently working with a national hydraulic and hose specialist that has undergone rapid expansion across the UK. If you are an ambitious, experienced engineer looking to advance your career, this role could be ideal for you.

The company has two vacancies, one in Ipswich and another in Cambridge.

As a Mobile Sales & Service Technician, your responsibilities will include:

1. Diagnosing and repairing damaged or burst hydraulic hoses on various machinery, working onsite from a mobile workshop/van.
2. Liaising with customers at all levels to ensure successful outcomes and exceeding customer expectations.

Introduce the full range of products to customers and develop accounts to increase business.

No specific experience is required; suitable backgrounds include:

• Mechanical, engineering, or construction backgrounds
• Mobile technician or tyre fitter backgrounds
• Plant fitter background
• Experience with power or hand tools, spanners, etc.
• Mechanical or engineering apprenticeship
• Vehicle maintenance or technician roles

Alternatively, candidates who have completed an engineering apprenticeship or similar qualification and are seeking a career in service engineering are encouraged to apply.

A full current UK driving licence is essential.
