A leading company in waterworks fittings is seeking a Production Planner to coordinate production schedules and manage workflow. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in production planning, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Tyler Union, a division of McWane, Inc., the nation’s leading manufacturer of Ductile Iron Waterworks Fittings and Appurtenances, is actively looking for a Production Planner. Tyler Union's main manufacturing facility is located in Anniston, AL.
The Production Planner will coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments, including outside vendors, according to the production schedule. Responsibilities include reviewing and distributing production, work, and shipment schedules; conferring with department personnel, supervisors, and vendors to determine progress and expected completion dates; and compiling reports on work progress, inventory levels, and costs. The role also involves communicating lead times, delays, and shortages to relevant personnel. The position promotes The McWane Way principles, values, and behaviors and embodies the Compass Culture.
