Job summary

Teaching Personnel invites graduates and career changers to join a two-year Salaried Teacher Training Programme in Bournemouth. The scheme pays a salary while you gain classroom experience, progressing from Cover Supervisor in year one to a trained teacher in year two with a fully funded PGCE and QTS.

You will be mentored by experienced staff, stay in the same school throughout the programme, and build practical skills in lesson delivery, pupil engagement and assessment. October 2026 start.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons and supervise pupils during the first year.
• Support pupil engagement and behaviour management in a school setting.
• Progress to formal teacher training in year two while continuing classroom duties.
• Work with a dedicated mentor to develop teaching and assessment practices.
