Job summary

Belmont Primary and Secondary Schools, part of OFG Education, seeks a Headteacher to lead two specialist provisions and shape life-changing opportunities for young people. This role involves strategic and operational leadership across both sites, championing innovative teaching and personalised learning for SEMH and allied needs.

You will work with Senior Leadership Teams to influence school development, empower colleagues, and foster a positive, ambitious culture where students and staff

Qualifications

• QTS/NPQH or equivalent teaching leadership qualification.
• Proven track record in head/deputy leadership within a specialist or SEMH setting.
• Experience driving school improvement and collaborating with inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead with vision across two Belmont sites, shaping curriculum and teaching.
• Drive personalised learning for SEMH and other needs through high-quality teaching.
• Develop and empower teams with collaboration, accountability and growth.
• Lead school improvement using self-evaluation and performance data.
• Champion safeguarding and wellbeing, ensuring safe learning environments.
• Build partnerships with families, authorities and external professionals.
• Oversee inspections readiness and regulatory compliance across both sites.
• Manage operations including budgets, resources and financial planning.
