(1f) We are looking to recruit two male personal assistants to support a middle-aged gentleman with his day-to-day living requirements.

This will include the use of a hoist to assist with his movement and personal care tasks, bathing, dressing and undressing, maintaining hydration, supporting with his meal times and when going out supporting him to use his electric wheelchair. This gentleman has some speech difficulties, but they can be overcome by the people around him, as they get to know him.

This man particularly enjoys football and there may be occasions whereby you would be required to attend a home game with him. Other interests include computers, walks outdoors, music, pop concerts, and a weekly trip to the MetroCentre.

Rate of Pay: £13.09 per hour

Hours Breakdown: 36 hours per week to be shared between two posts, including all day on Wednesday from 7:30 am to 5 pm.
