Job summary

Recruitable Staffing Solutions is seeking a Van Delivery Driver for a two-person home delivery operation based in Snetterton. You will drive a delivery van and work with a Driver's Mate to load, unload and deliver goods to customers.

The role requires handling large items, safe lifting, and strong customer service. A full UK driving licence with up to six points is required; DD/IN/DR endorsements are not accepted. DBS check is beneficial. Start times are typically around 06:30.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence suitable for driving a van.
• No more than six penalty points.
• No DD, IN or DR endorsement codes.
• Previous delivery or van-driving experience preferred.
• Ability to carry out regular lifting and manual handling safely.
• Reliability, good communication and a customer-focused attitude.
• An existing DBS check would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Driving a delivery van safely between customer addresses.
• Working with a Driver's Mate to load, unload and deliver goods.
• Handling large and bulky items using safe working practices.
• Checking deliveries against paperwork and recording delivery information.
• Providing a polite and professional service to customers.
• Completing vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
