Job summary

inspiring vet care is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join Rowe Vets, Bradley Stoke, in a 37.5-hour twilight role. This 24-hour hospital offers advanced imaging and supportive OOH services for diverse cases, with a focus on high-quality nursing care and client experience.

You will work alongside a dedicated OOH team, supporting first opinion and referral cases, while delivering compassionate patient care and maintaining clinical standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Cover a variety of nursing duties across prep, theatre, wards and imaging.
• Monitor anaesthesia and sedation for diagnostic imaging, surgery, and rechecks.
• Support the OOH team with admitting and stabilising emergency cases.
• Provide support to first opinion and referral cases, including client liaison and discharge planning.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Rowe Vets on a full-time basis.

Rowe Vets, Bradley Stoke is a busy 24-hour veterinary hospital and referral centre based in Bristol and can offer the most advanced treatment options available for orthopaedic, soft tissue, ophthalmology and internal medicine cases. We have all imaging facilities with access to MRI.

We have dedicated team of Referral clinicians, RVNs and Support teams & you would be working alongside a dedicated OOHs team. As part of our team, you will be providing high quality nursing care to a variety of cases in all disciplines & support our referral cases.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Twilight Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.

You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider OOH team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

Working Pattern

• 37.5 hours per week
• Monday - Friday 5pm - 1am

General Responsibilities

• Covering a variety of nursing duties across prep, theatre, wards and imaging
• Monitoring anaesthesia and sedations of patients who are undergoing diagnostic imaging, surgery, and/or rechecks
• Supporting the OOH team with admitting and stabilising emergency cases
• Provide support to all 1st opinion cases & referral - being a point of contact to clients, including organising admits and discharges
