Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Semi-Conductor Design Engineer to develop innovative ESD device structures and processing technologies for Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) products! With their clients specialising in anything from computer systems to mobile phones and an emerging sector in vehicle charging, they are a growing business, which is how this position has come to fruition.

This role involves designing and optimising semiconductor processes to meet specified electrical requirements. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with process integration engineers, foundries, and product teams to ensure the seamless development and production of high-quality TVS devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct TCAD simulations to design and optimise TVS and ESD protection structures, defining design rules and process conditions.
  • Develop process split plans and layout designs, working closely with process integration engineers to execute DOE plans.
  • Interface with foundries to implement process flows that align with product requirements.
  • Create photomask layouts, generate GDS files, and manage tape-out processes.
  • Collaborate with product engineering and marketing teams to ensure products are ready for production.

In return you'll receive a salary up to £60k, a 5% matched pension, 23 days holiday + Bank Holidays and a Health Cash plan amongst other benefits.
