Job summary

We are hiring a Learning Support Assistant for Alumwell Junior School on a fixed-term basis, working 27.5 hours per week during term time. The role involves supporting children, particularly in Key Stage 2. A commitment to safeguarding and preferably a love for dogs is vital due to the school's therapy animals.

Learning Support Assistant

Level 2 – Term Time Only

Temporary (Fixed Term) – G4 SCP 6 - 11

27.5 Hours per Week

(8.50am – 12.30pm and 1:25pm – 3.15pm)

We are seeking to employ a Learning Support Assistant on a Fixed Term Contract starting September 2025 until 31st August 2026, to join our team at Alumwell Junior School.

You will be required to work 27.5 hours per week, over 5 days, term time only.

If you enjoy working with children, have Key Stage 2 experience and are looking for a new and exciting challenge, we would like to hear from you.

(Alumwell Junior School has two very friendly school therapy dogs who are regular visitors to all classes throughout the day, therefore liking dogs is essential)
