One year fixed term, in the first instance

We are looking for an outstanding and innovative Learning Support Assistant who has a genuine desire for all children in their care to achieve.

The successful candidate will join our team to ensure and support children to reach their full potential. Candidates should be dynamic and innovative practitioners and have significant experience of working with children in a primary educational setting. This post will, initially, be based in Key Stage 1, but our expectation is that you will be flexible and able to work across the entire primary age range.

The successful candidate will:

• have excellent classroom management skills and high expectations of all children
• hold a Level 3 TA qualification or equivalent
• ideally be fully trained and have experience of delivering RWI
• be flexible and adaptable and able to think on their feet
• be creative, dynamic and a positive team member
• have high expectations and a sound understanding of raising achievement
• demonstrate commitment and collaborative working with colleagues in order to maximise children’s learning
• be competent in the use of ICT
• on occasion, cover a class
• be committed to their own ongoing professional development
• have a good sense of humour
