Early Years Childcare Practitioner – Pheasey Park Farm Early Years Centre
We are looking to recruit an excellent Childcare Practitioner to join our team at Pheasey Park Farm Early Years Centre.
A position has arisen at Pheasey Park Farm, working at our Early Years Centre. The Centre provides full day care provision for children aged 0 months to 4 years, as well as wraparound care for 3 and 4 year olds. The Centre also provides before and after school provision for primary aged children as well as some holiday clubs.
The successful applicant will strengthen the Nursery Staff Team and contribute positively to a high-quality learning environment by working as part of a team of staff.
Key responsibilities for the Early Years Practitioner role include:
• To assist Room Leaders in providing an organised, welcoming and stimulating learning environment for all children;
• Supporting all children in achieving their developmental milestones.
• To implement the planned programme of activities as arranged by the Room Leader.
• To carry out children’s observations in order to support the assessment of their learning and development.
• To communicate with parents to achieve a positive relationship that supports the children’s well-being.
The post will work under the direction of the Early Years Centre Manager/Assistant Head Teacher.
Successful applicants will be team players and demonstrate excellent organisational, numeracy, literacy and ICT skills.
