Our Federation offers a unique opportunity for a very special kind of teaching assistant to work in a single phase school, as well as the chance to work alongside colleagues from other phases, in order to enhance your professional development.

We continue a really exciting phase in our Federation’s development, as we are the West Walsall Nurture Hub, leading in schools on developing Restorative Practice, a Learning Hub for the Attachment Research Community, working collaboratively on delivering Autism Education Trust training and continuing to develop our Specialist learning provisions in response to an ever increasing number of children with specific additional needs!

We are a fully inclusive school and enjoy the challenge of meeting the needs of every child in a unique way. Our practice is recognised as exceptional. Our staff are too.

At both Rosedale and Short Heath we also have Specialist Resource Provisions - commissioned specialist places for children with EHCPs for either SEMH or Communication and Interaction needs, with a new one about to open at Rosedale in September.

Opportunities exist across all of our Federation schools for Level 3 Teaching Assistants who will inspire our children, ensuring they make good progress and enjoy learning.
All of these posts will involve working within specialist provisions, supporting children with complex additional needs.
