Travelogue of CGTN Culture is seeking an experienced TV host to join its growing team of dedicated, passionate, and outgoing personalities for its position in Beijing, China. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in hosting culture-related programs on screen and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. If you are an optimistic, energetic, creative, and charismatic person who is culturally curious and eager to grow both personally and professionally — we want to hear from you! You should also be a natural team player, have a strong interest in travel, Chinese ancient and pop culture, and the ability to observe and comment from a global perspective. Writing high-quality scripts in English at a native level, paired with your personal tone of voice and willingness to travel frequently within China, are key qualities for this role, which involves hosting our flagship travel program, "Travelogue."

Responsibilities
  1. Host outdoor TV programs on Travelogue
  2. Write and edit scripts, as well as dub videos, in native English
  3. Coordinate effectively with directors and editors across departments
  4. Pitch creative ideas related to travel and culture
  5. Maintain familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
Minimum Qualifications
  1. BA degree or higher, preferably in Media Communications
  2. At least 2 years of experience in a creative field, ideally in media, marketing, or agency work; experience in hosting or reporting on camera is preferred
  3. Native English speaker with strong proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written)
  4. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  5. Strong team player
