Job summary

Sky is hiring for a Media Planning Lead to support the planning team across offline and online channels, delivering insight-led media plans in collaboration with agency partners and in-house teams.

You will oversee cross-vertical laydowns, manage budgets and timelines, and mentor a graduate team member during rotation. Flexible hybrid working and Osterley office provide space to develop bold media ideas.

Qualifications

What you'll do

• Support the Media Planning Team to deliver effective, insight-led media plans, working closely with our media agency, in-house digital and social teams and Marketing
• Provide support across Connectivity & TV Marketing teams as required
• Challenge the status quo by continuously exploring and evaluating new opportunities, driving innovation and elevating media best practice
• Work in collaboration with the Media Strategy team on Annual, Quarterly and Strategic projects
• Manage and develop a graduate team member, supporting their learning and progression within Media Planning during their rotation
• Oversee Sky's cross vertical annual laydown (The Sync) and management of the process with all Marketing teams to track budgets and campaigns across the year.
• Support the ongoing transition to our new media agency by refining processes and embedding more effective ways of working

Essential Criteria

• Detailed knowledge of all media channels (both offline and online), campaign development, measurement and optimisation
• Excellent at relationship building, gaining trust and engagement with key stakeholders.
• A successful track record of managing a complex and ever evolving laydown, covering a range of different brands and their respective priorities.
• Strong ability to manage multiple media campaigns, prioritising effectively to deliver high-quality campaigns to tight deadlines.
• Ability to set up, analyse and interpret media measurement studies, with a view to apply the learnings on future campaigns

Desirable skills and experience

• 5+ years' experience of working in planning in a media agency, owner or client in a media specialist role
• Experience mentoring or managing junior team members
