Job summary

Sky is seeking a Senior Manager – Culture and Strategic Projects to shape a workplace where colleagues thrive by translating Sky’s values into everyday experiences. You will design the Welcome to Sky onboarding and lead strategic projects across Early Careers, Talent and Performance to deliver real business impact.

You will connect insights and storytelling with senior stakeholder collaboration to drive joined-up culture initiatives in a flexible, hybrid environment at Osterley.

• Own a flagship culture initiative: design and launch Welcome to Sky onboarding for UK&I colleagues.
• Embed culture initiatives and connect people, products and data to measure progress.
• Partner with Early Careers on strategic projects like workforce planning and benchmarking.
• Connect Culture, Talent and Performance with joined-up insights and narratives.
• Lead strategic projects across Early Careers, Talent and Performance with people-centric design.
• Translate business priorities into practical solutions that strengthen culture and colleague experience.

As Senior Manager – Culture and Strategic Projects , you will help shape a culture where our people can thrive, do their best work and bring Sky’s values and behaviours to life. From designing an engaging Welcome to Sky onboarding experience to leading strategic projects across Early Careers, Talent and Performance, you’ll create connected people experiences and products that strengthen our culture, enhance colleague experience and deliver business impact. Acting as the connector across these priorities, you’ll bring together insight, planning and storytelling to maximise impact. This is a unique opportunity to work flexibly across a broad remit, shape colleague experiences and join the dots across the people agenda.

Whatyou’lldo

• Own a flagship culture initiative: design and launch an engaging Welcome to Sky onboarding experience for all UK&I colleagues, working collaboratively with teams across Sky
• Build on the foundations of our culture programme by embedding initiatives, connecting people products and using insight and data to measure progress
• Partner with the Early Careers team on strategic projects and priorities such as future workforce planning, external benchmarking and articulating the impact of our programmes
• Connect the dots across Culture, Talent, Performance and Early Careers, aligning priorities, surfacing insights and creating a more joined-up people narrative
• Lead and contribute to strategic projects across Early Careers, Talent and Performance, applying insight, problem-solving and people product design to deliver meaningful outcomes
• Translate business priorities, external trends and colleague insight into practical solutions that strengthen culture and enhance the colleague experience

Whatyou’llbring

Essential

• Deep experience designing onboarding experiences and culture initiatives, with broader expertise in one or more of Early Careers, Talent Management or Performance
• Proven track record of designing and delivering people products in large, complex organisations, translating business priorities into meaningful colleague and business outcomes
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills, building alignment across senior leaders and navigating complexity across multiple agendas
• Outstanding communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complexity, connect ideas and influence through compelling narratives
• Strong strategic and systems thinking, with the ability to think holistically across the people agenda, identify interdependencies and drive greater impact through joined-up solutions.

Desirable

• Experience leading complex, cross-functional projects from concept through to implementation, influencing without direct authority
• Experience using external trends, benchmarking and market insight to inform people strategies and solutions
