An established industry player is urgently seeking compassionate and patient tutors to support students in Teesside. This role offers the chance to work flexibly, providing essential 1:1 tuition to children with diverse needs, including those with SEND and mental health challenges. As a tutor, you'll make a significant impact on students aged 4-16, helping them reintegrate into education. Protocol Education have an urgent need for Tutors in Teesside and surrounding areas. We work closely with the Local Authorities providing experienced and committed tutors to support students on a 1:1 basis.
These pupils have a range of needs including:
We are looking for compassionate and patient Qualified Teachers who are either retired and looking to work part time, or Teachers/experienced Tutors looking to use their skills outside of the classroom environment to make a difference for children in the local area.
Tuition sessions are expected to take place either within the young person’s home or a local library/community hub. The support can vary from 1 hour to 15 hours a week.
As a 1:1 tutor you will provide support in any of the following areas: English, Maths, Life Skills to prepare students returning to school. The students can range from aged 4 – 16 years old.
Access to your own vehicle is highly desirable for the role, as you will be travelling between students for each session.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
