Physics World is excited to offer an opportunity for PhD researchers as STEM tutors through The Brilliant Club. This role not only enhances educational outreach but also provides meaningful experiences and pay for each placement, including training and support, to develop teaching skills and community engagement. Ideal for those looking to boost their CV and help students from underprivileged backgrounds reach their full potential.
The Organisation
The Brilliant Club is an award-winning charity that mobilises the PhD community to support students who are less advantaged to access the most competitive universities and succeed when they get there.
We do this through our programmes, The Scholars Programme and Join the Dots, where we recruit, train and place PhD researchers to work with state school pupils.
The Opportunity
We are excited to be recruiting for STEM tutors to join us. Working as a Brilliant Club tutor offers PhD researchers and graduates a meaningful, paid, community engagement opportunity.
