About the Role

The School of Psychology is a vibrant, research-active and teaching-focused team of professionals, with expertise spanning a diverse range of psychological disciplines. We actively encourage and involve our students in research-led learning to develop highly skilled, knowledgeable, and employment-ready graduates.

There is a clear enthusiasm for developing programmes that offer students meaningful engagement with psychological science. Our undergraduate and applied MSc programmes are approved and accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS). These are underpinned by a strong organisational structure and inclusive ethos, which greatly enhance the student experience. This is reflected in our exceptional National Student Survey (NSS) results and the consistently high number of applications we receive each year.

The Role

Applications are invited for a Tutor in Psychology, with a focus on Education, Pedagogy and Citizenship, to join the School of Psychology, which forms part of the Faculty of Health and Education.

The successful candidate will be required to teach within the core British Psychological Society (BPS) curriculum areas, demonstrate adaptability to digital education and online learning, and have a strong track record of supervision and personal tutoring at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Ideal Candidate

Applicants should be eligible for Chartered Membership of the BPS and hold a postgraduate qualification (Level 7) in Psychology.
