Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced QTS-qualified tutor to deliver GCSE Maths and English tuition in the Witney area (OX18) and Didcot area (OX11) Tuition will take place in a home setting, either 1:1 or in small groups (up to 3 or 4 students) for up to 10 hours per week

Sessions will begin in September 2025, running on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday afternoons, with a minimum commitment of 6 months.

About the Role:

• Provide tailored GCSE tuition in Maths and/or English
• Teach in-person within a home setting
• Focus on building confidence, closing gaps, and preparing for exams

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Strong knowledge of the GCSE curriculum in Maths and/or English
• Reliable, professional, and passionate about helping students succeed
• Available on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday afternoons
• Committed for at least 6 months from September 2025
• Full enhanced DBS

Pay:

• 25- 30 per hour, depending on experience and group size - (group tuition pay is obviously more and is negotiable)
