Overview

Are you passionate about education and keen to help students reach their full potential? We’re looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and knowledgeable tutors to join our growing team.

Subjects Required

• English (KS1-A-Level)
• Maths (KS1-A-Level)
• Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics)
• Humanities and Languages (History, Geography, Spanish, French etc.)
• 11+, GCSE, and A-Level exam preparation

About the Role

You'll work with students on a 1-to-1 basis or in small groups, either in-person or online, delivering tailored support based on each pupil's needs and goals. Whether you're a qualified teacher, a university student, or an experienced tutor, we want to hear from you.

Contract/Position Details

• Location - Within the community or pupils' home
• Position - 1:1 Outreach Tutor
• Type of work - Contract
• Start date - ASAP
• Duration - Until the pupil can reintegrate into a new school placement
• End date (if applicable) - Ongoing
• Contract type - Temporary
• Full-time/part-time - Part time (15 hours per week, per student)
• Minimum rate of pay - 25 - 30 per hour
• Hours - Working hours can differentiate, depending on the convenient timings of the family

Experience, Training and Qualifications of the 1:1 Outreach Tutor

• QTS or equivalent
• Possess UK classroom teaching experience
• Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box
• Have experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils

Eligibility

• Hold the right to work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child-related references.
