Experienced Tutors Wanted Support Students with EHCPs & Exclusions

Are you passionate about making a real difference in a young person's life?

We’re looking for dedicated and empathetic tutors to provide 1:1 tuition support for students currently out of mainstream education in Maidstone due to awaiting school placement to support the requirements of their EHCPs (Education, Health and Care Plans) or school exclusion.

Location
  • Dartford (other areas of Kent also available)
  • Flexible hours (term-time, some holiday sessions available)
  • Competitive hourly rates (based on experience & qualifications)
About the Role:

You’ll be supporting learners who need a personalised, nurturing approach to help them re-engage with education. This may include:

  • Delivering tailored lessons (English, Maths or other core subjects)
  • Working in students' homes or community settings
  • Providing emotional support alongside academic guidance
  • Collaborating with parents/carers and local authorities
What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience working with children with SEND, EHCPs, or challenging behaviour
  • A strong background in teaching or tutoring (QTS, HLTA, or relevant experience)
  • Patience, resilience, and a creative approach to learning
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
