Overview

Face to Face Tutors needed to provide core subject support (Maths, English, or Science) for Young People with SEND, SEMH and other Additional Educational Needs. Multiple positions are available and hiring is ongoing to meet the wide variety of needs we support.

Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 tuition in Maths and/or English to young people with SEND, SEMH, and other Additional Educational Needs referred to Prospero Teaching.
  • Create and deliver learning plans on a 1 to 1 basis.
  • Apply a therapeutic, trauma-informed approach to re-engage students and give them structure in their daily routine to support their educational development.
  • Support pupils to progress and aim to return them to an educational setting.

We are on a mission to transform the quality of education provided to young people with SEN/SEND, as well as other needs such as SEMH. We support children and young people with MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties) and SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties).

  • Gross pay for this role is between £25 p/h – £30 p/h (base rate + 12.07% holiday pay).
