Specialist English Tutor - 1:1 PDA, Autism, Scribing & Dyslexia-Friendly Approach
Location: Whitbourne, Herefordshire (WR2/WR6)
Rate: From GBP50/hour (higher rates negotiable) + travel/fuel costs considered
Contract: Long-term, 2 years Part-Time (2 hours/week) Face-to-Face

We would also be open to tutoring sessions taking place over the Summer holidays to allow for rapport building between the successful tutor and young person

Key Responsibilities:

- Support learning through scribing or assistive technology
- Respect and work within a low-demand environment led by the students interests
- Foster trust, confidence, and gradual progress toward written outcomes

Essential Criteria:
- Experience working with students with PDA, Aspergers and Autism
- Confident scribing and using alternative learning methods
- Calm, therapeutic, and engaging communication style
- Willing to be led by the students strengths and passions
- Specialism in English (QTS/QTLS)

Pay & Structure:
This role begins at GBP50/hour, with potential for a higher rate based on experience and alignment with the students needs. Travel and fuel costs are also open to negotiation.
