Overview

TP Tutors are recruiting compassionate and dedicated SEMH Tutors to work with pupils across Gateshead who require additional emotional and academic support.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personalised sessions that combine academic learning with emotional support.
  • Build strong, trusting relationships to engage reluctant learners.
  • Monitor progress and maintain records on our cloud-based tracking system.
  • Help pupils develop confidence, resilience, and positive learning habits.
Essential Tutor Requirements
  • Experience working with pupils with SEMH needs.
  • Knowledge of the KS3/KS4 curriculum in English, maths, or both.
  • Patience, empathy, and adaptability.
  • QTS or strong tutoring experience with SEND/SEMH pupils.
