Job summary

Eden Girls' School in Waltham Forest, part of Star Academies, is seeking a dedicated teacher to deliver tailored support to pupils and contribute to an outstanding learning environment for girls aged 11–16. You will be a committed team player with strong organisational and instructional skills, capable of supporting learning across the school.

The successful candidate will hold Qualified Teacher Status and be able to tutor GCSE subjects, explain concepts clearly, manage classroom behaviour, and

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.

About Eden Girls' School, Waltham Forest

Eden Girls’ School, Waltham Forest is a Muslim faith-based secondary school for girls, which welcomes pupils from all faiths and none. We opened in Walthamstow in 2014 and, like all Star schools, we have a leadership specialism. The successful candidate will be a committed team player with excellent organisational and technical skills. You will have the ability to effectively support learning and teaching, and to develop relationships across our school and the Star community.

You will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status
• The ability to provide tuition on the subject to GCSE level.
• The ability to explain concepts clearly and confidently
• The ability to manage behaviour in the classroom.
• Knowledge of the latest specification and tests in the subject.
