Overview

Arden College is recruiting a Tutor to join our Teaching team now! We are looking for an ambitious, energetic and committed tutor who will expand the learning experiences and provide tuition for individuals and small groups of young people, which allows for full engagement and ensures that the program of learning meets the needs of the individual.

The successful candidate will have experience of teaching young people with autism and a severe learning disability, ideally in a special school or college setting.

Arden College is a specialist college providing education to students with autism aged between 16 and 25. We are currently seeking to employ a tutor who is able to teach students with autism and severe learning disability.

We are Aspris Children’s Services and are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young adults. All applicants must be willing to undergo safeguarding screening appropriate to the post, including checks with Disclosure & Barring Service and at least 2 references which cover the last 3 years; for all our services we will request references from where you have worked with either Children or Vulnerable Adults. References may be requested prior to interview for roles within our Schools and colleges.
