Are you passionate about the English language and dedicated to helping students succeed? We’re looking for an enthusiastic and committed English Tutor to join our growing team in North Yorkshire.

About the Role:

As an English Tutor, you will support students of varying ages and abilities with their English language and literature skills. You’ll provide tailored one-to-one or small group tuition, helping learners build confidence and achieve academic success – from SATs and GCSEs to A-Level.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging, personalised English lessons

Support students with exam preparation and coursework

Track progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents

Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment

Requirements:

Strong academic background in English (Degree or equivalent)

Prior tutoring or teaching experience (preferred)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

Passion for education and helping others succeed
