Make a Difference in Preston - One Child at a Time with TP Tutors

We're currently looking for qualified teachers and experienced tutors in the Preston area to join our mission. You'll work one-to-one with pupils outside of mainstream education, helping them re-engage with learning, grow in confidence, and achieve their full potential.

Who You'll Support in Preston:

You'll be working with local children and young people who may be:

  • Looked After Children living in care settings across Preston

  • Pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)

  • Young people who are excluded or awaiting school placements

  • Children experiencing anxiety, trauma, or poor mental health

  • EAL/ESOL learners new to the UK or developing English skills

  • Pupils in both primary and secondary age groups

These learners often need more than a tutor-they need a trusted adult who can offer consistency, encouragement, and belief in their potential.

What You'll Do:

  • Deliver in-person, tailored tuition sessions in and around Preston

  • Liaise with parents, carers, and social workers to arrange and plan lessons

  • Assess individual needs and create bespoke learning plans

  • Track progress using our user-friendly LEAP platform

  • Access regular support, resources, and CPD via the TP Tutors Academy
