Education and Training

£20 - £30 Per hour

  • Providing tailored English and Maths tutoring to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Creating individualised learning plans to meet the needs of each student
  • Delivering engaging and interactive lessons to enhance understanding and retention
  • Monitoring student progress and adjusting teaching methods as necessary
  • Collaborating with parents, teachers, and specialists to ensure holistic support for students
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Demonstrated expertise in teaching English and Maths at GCSE level

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in SEN education

  • Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and methodologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching techniques to suit individual learning styles
  • Proficiency in assessing student needs and developing appropriate learning plans
  • Part-time hours with flexibility in scheduling
  • Work primarily in learners homes or local libraries
  • Potential travel to different locations within the East of England region

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
