Experienced Secondary Tutor – Part Time - Barking and Dagenham

Role Overview

We are seeking an Experienced Secondary Tutor for part-time work supporting secondary-aged children in Barking and Dagenham. This role offers flexible hours in the mornings or afternoons, either in a child's home with a family member present or in a public setting such as a local library.

Responsibilities

1. Provide 1:1 tutoring tailored to the needs of secondary school children.
2. Support children with various needs, including SEN, SEMH, exclusion, moving home, or hospital recovery.
3. Conduct sessions in a manner that accommodates the child's circumstances and needs.

About the School/Setting

The role is based in a provision supporting children who are not attending mainstream school for various reasons. An interview and short paid induction will be provided before starting.
