Job description
  • JOB TITLE: Supplier Manager
  • SALARY: £43,803 - £53,537
  • LOCATION(S): Watford
  • HOURS: Full-time
  • WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, involving at least three days per week, or 60% of our time, at our Watford site. During training, new starters are required to be in the office 5 days a week until proficient and fully trained.
About this Opportunity

You'll be responsible for managing the performance of a portfolio of high-volume, high-spend suppliers engaged in vehicle supply, services, maintenance, and repairs for Tusker. You will report directly to the Head of Vehicle Operations.

You will lead performance, contract management, and driver experience activities related to our suppliers, impacting and influencing outcomes, and be responsible for delivering the group-wide supplier management strategy.

Understand business requirements, build partnerships, utilize data, analysis, and reporting to identify trends, focus on performance quality, and drive continuous improvement to add value and mitigate risks.

What you’ll need
  • A proven understanding of the automotive market, leasing, salary sacrifice industry, and key market trends.
  • Experience building strong commercial relationships with suppliers and partners, promoting quality customer service, and prioritizing driver experience.
  • Ability to collaborate with business partners, share contractual and performance metrics, and ensure expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Skills to identify process shortcomings and implement improvements.
  • Capability to develop personal skills through training and mentoring others.
  • Responsibility for key supplier performance management and reporting, tracking risks, and reporting deviations to senior management.
Additional useful experience
  • Enhancing Tusker Group performance reporting in collaboration with LBG colleagues.
  • Supporting alignment with Supplier Policy and Risk Framework.
  • Handling business requirements from Tusker and LBG.
  • Working with Group Supplier Network Managers to optimize costs and customer outcomes.
  • Supporting tender processes for key supplier appointments.
