Job summary

BDO UK in Manchester seeks a Business Restructuring Senior Manager to lead advisory, turnaround, accelerated M&A and insolvency assignments. You will drive defined workstreams, prepare IBRs and restructuring outputs, and manage senior stakeholder relationships.

The role offers early responsibility, opportunities to mentor juniors, and to develop market relationships while contributing to firm growth. Flexible working is supported across projects and locations.

Qualifications

• Qualified ICAEW/ACCA required.
• Strong financial analysis skills to identify issues in restructuring.
• Insolvency qualification desirable, not essential.
• Up-to-date knowledge of regulatory and statutory requirements.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and IPS.
• Excellent project management and multitasking ability.

Responsibilities

• Lead defined workstreams on advisory and restructuring projects.
• Prepare Independent Business Reviews and restructuring reports.
• Manage client and stakeholder relationships throughout assignments.
• Oversee project planning, financial management and quality delivery.
• Contribute to business development through proposals and pitches.
