Advanced Design Technology Ltd. (ADT) is a global leader in developing advanced software for the design and optimization of turbomachinery for aerospace, automotive, marine, and power generation industries in Europe, Japan, and the US. To support our expansion, we are recruiting a Turbomachinery Application Engineer.

Role & Responsibilities

As a Turbomachinery Application Engineer, you will serve as a key link between engineering and marketing teams.

The ideal candidate is a graduate with experience in engineering or technical documentation related to software or processes.

The main responsibilities include:

  • Develop design, analysis, and optimization procedures for turbomachinery stages such as pumps, compressors, turbines, and fans;
  • Document design processes for technical blogs and LinkedIn posts;
  • Create video tutorials on 3D inverse design methodology and prepare cases for webinars;
  • Manage technical support tickets, ensuring timely responses and compliance with SLAs;
  • Support and train academic partners in using our software tools to meet project goals.

We seek a curious and rigorous individual eager to develop and share knowledge on turbomachinery design and optimization.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Postgraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer in turbomachinery;
  • Experience in aerodynamic or hydrodynamic design of turbomachinery such as pumps, fans, compressors, or turbines;
  • Strong documentation and presentation skills, with confidence in communicating to colleagues and clients;
  • Understanding of commercial aspects of software features, capabilities, and benefits while maintaining high engineering standards.
