In this role, you will be joined by one of our residents to set up the tuck shop and arrange items attractively to promote our products. You will decide on stock items, including toiletries, sweets, nightwear, etc., and assist residents by helping them find items or suggesting alternatives.

Additionally, we are looking for volunteers to help promote the tuck shop by creating and displaying posters, engaging with residents about available products, and contributing to the service newsletter.

As a volunteer with Creative Support, you will receive training, have access to a volunteer supervisor, undergo an induction, receive a monthly newsletter, and join an online support group via Zoom.

The main responsibilities include:

  1. Setting up the shop with our resident by arranging items for sale.
  2. Promoting items to residents.
  3. Handling cash and card payments accurately.
  4. Ensuring stock is in date and conducting stock checks.
  5. Providing staff with information on items that need replenishing.
