Job summary

Pinson TM Limited is recruiting Trainee & Qualified Traffic Management Operatives to join our UK-wide team. Operatives and drivers with experience in traffic management are invited to apply, with duties including setting up temporary traffic lights and managing traffic flow on site.

You will work with direct labour and sub-contract teams, read CAD traffic management drawings, and ensure compliance with Health & Safety and RAMS. Right to work in the UK and a full driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• Lantra approved traffic management qualifications.
• Able to pass a drugs & alcohol check.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Full UK driving licence (no more than 6 points).

Responsibilities

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required.
• Managing the traffic flow at the temporary lights to ensure public safety.
• Reporting to site or operations manager as needed.
• Reading and interpreting CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintaining and removing traffic management within deadlines.
• Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act.
• Following RAMS and method statements and risk assessments.
• Assisting with unloading/loading of materials.
• Ensuring safe working practices are followed.

Pinson TM are working with some of the largest traffic management companies across the UK, and due to an increase in work, we are recruiting for Trainee & Qualified Traffic Management Operatives.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking both operatives and drivers with Traffic Management experience. This is a great opportunity to join one of our leading Traffic Management clients.

Scope of Role:

Trainee Operatives & Qualified Operatives will be working with both the direct labour and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time.

Duties may include:

Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required

Managing the traffic flow at the temp traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this

Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager

Reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work

Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.

Maintaining and remove traffic management within the required time scales.

Setting up traffic lights.

Assisting with the diversion of traffic.

To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality.

Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.

Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.

To help with the unloading/loading of materials.

Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and

Risk Assessments.

Reporting plant & vehicle defects.
